Farmington Valley Trout Unlimited will hold its October meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 17th , at the Back Nine Tavern at the Stanley Golf Course, 245 Hartford Rd., New Britain. Bertrand Jacquemin, a member of the French competitive fly fishing team for 11 years, will present a program on sight fishing. A legend in the fly-fishing world, Bertrand won 4 gold medals in 11 years of international competition. Parking and admission are free, and everyone is welcome. Food and drink are available.
