The Farmington Valley Chapter of Trout Unlimited is proud to announce the Trout in the Classroom 2025 Scholarship! This scholarship is designed to support students pursuing higher education in fields connected to conservation and environmental stewardship.
Scholarship Highlights:
Eligibility Requirements:
Must be a graduating high school senior.
Current or former participant in the TIC program sponsored by FVTU.
Application must include signatures from the student applicant and a parent or guardian.
Applicants must major in one of the following fields:
Conservation
Ecology
Environmental Science
Environmental Engineering
Fisheries Biology
Forestry
Marine Science
Natural Resource Management
Wildlife Biology
Essay Requirement:
Submit a 500-word essay on the topic: "How did the Trout in the Classroom Program influence your intended course of study?"
Important Deadlines:
Applications must be postmarked by March 17, 2025.
The winner will be notified via email by April 15, 2025.
