The FVTU Scholarship Committee is proud to announce this year’s Trout in the Classroom Scholarship recipient: Theodore Orzol of Plainville High School.
In his thoughtful essay, Theodore described the delicate biological and chemical challenges of raising trout from eggs in a controlled classroom environment. He reflected on how the hands-on experience sparked a lasting interest in protecting ecosystems and understanding the natural balance that sustains aquatic life.
This fall, Theodore will begin his studies in engineering at the University of Connecticut. Please join us in congratulating him on this achievement and wishing him continued success!
